Outside of the transportation benefits the roadway will bring to the Cleveland area, the effort opens potential for new economic development, revitalization, new jobs, and a new identity for the community.

The Department is working to assess and remediate brownfield land in the area, as well as working to create a marketing plan to attract potential development, with the ultimate goal of development which supports job opportunities for neighborhood residents.
