Mayor's NTI Loan Program
The Mayor’s Neighborhood Transformation Initiative (NTI) Forgivable Loan program provides financial assistance to businesses and landlords located in one of the targeted neighborhoods. These programs aim to fill vacancy and reactivate commercial corridors.
Eligibility
Businesses and landlords located in: Glenville Circle North, Buckeye-Woodhill, E. 79th Street (between Central Ave and Kinsman Rd), and Clark-Metro
Max Assistance
Up to $100,000
Use of Proceeds
Business owners: build-out, acquisition of equipment, furniture and fixtures, signage
Landlords: interior/ exterior renovations, landscaping, fencing
Equity Requirement
Applicant must provide a minimum of 10% equity.
Collateral
City to have a UCC lien on business assets. Other collateral may be deemed necessary.
Interest Rates
Up to 3% interest rate
Loan Terms
Up to 5 years for business owners and up to 11 years for landlords.
Forgiveness
$3,000 for architectural and engineering fees (for landlords only)
12 months before the term of the loan, compliance will be reviewed and the balance may be forgiven.
